We try to go Bitless but we do not spend a lot of money when it could work. As the Indian thing is how it is called under other auctions. Again, it was used for lack of a better term. Sheesh.
I've always gone with one all leather myself, simply because the material and how the wound tends to rub fur from their faces. I had a horse that lacked hair on both sides of his face because of it. If the horse is really good without a little and requires No pulling back, he should be fine. But when you start shooting to stop, bantering begins to occur.
