English Saddle Seat
mounting a QH X gelding for Morgan .. English saddle?
I have a year to 2 years that Morgan gelding QH ... It is big enough around her belly ... It shoulders and a big .. broad back is approximately 15.3 hands tall. It weighs approx. 1000 lbs. when I buy an English saddle, what size tree would he be? I usually roll with a 16.5''16''ou sitting on an English saddle
You will probably need a fan or X-wide tree. What you can do is buy a Bates saddle with a tree adjustable. I ride many different horses shapped so I bought one and it is easy and simple to change the gullet Out. The saddle is a quality and a pleasant walk. I got mine on eBay as it is not my primary saddle and paid just over $ 600. New, they are much more expensive. Good luck.
