Opinions Bit Korsteel Flexi Flavored?

My horse hates pieces of metal (brass, German silver, stainless, sweet, you name it, I tried), so anything that I have used is Korsteel Flexi mouth pieces and happy with him. I do not think the flavor makes no difference to him, he cares only that or plastic. The only drawback is that it chews through the bit, even with Cavesson and flash, so I have to replace the bit about every 6 months. They usually go on sale to horse frugal couple of times a year, and I buy 3 at once, or scented unscented, which is 6 inches my big boy. I like the control and rapid response in the ring bit loose, and once the horse hates the French link. I would like there simply was no choice in the 6-inch Korsteel Flexi Bit. I do not think the flavor has nothing to do with it. I can not breathe on the track when I get out of the box.
