Head Roping Dummy
Is this considered abuse? And how much?
(1) Kicking / Hitting day (2) having to point to your head, saying: "D, D, D" again and again (synonymous with fictitious) (3) Eat out of the dog bowl on the floor (4) Cold showers in your clothes, if you cried (5) In coming to the dinner table for 13 without a shirt or a bra because you told a lie (6) and tied a cloth wet to put in your mouth and nose pinched, then closed for a few seconds at a time. (7) Put it in a garage in the winter with shorts and t-shirt for misconduct (8) I could go on and on. My father said he was "perhaps negligence, but there was no abuse. The above was made by my mother to my sister when she was a child or adolescent. My sister is now 45 and is about to receive of ECT for severe depression or anxiety. Could neglect the depression / abuse to be linked? We sisters got some mental abuse but have been hit if we tried to stop my mother from hurting him. My mother was diagnosed with a personality disorder, but never received treatment.
Oh my God! Do you people live in a remote area where there is no help Available as a social worker or telling a teacher what was going on in your house. I'm sorry, but your father is responsible for what happened your sister. Did not your father tried to stop him. He said, "may be negligence." What has happened here what you say is certainly an abuse and neglect of any standard. And I can understand the other sisters can not do anything. You were only children and do not know what to do and scared especially when there is an abusive parent or parents in a house. I cry when I hear stories like this and it makes me very sad. I guess I'm lucky. When I was young, and disobey my parents, their sentence to me was to eliminate or remove something that I love and can not resume until I am ready to behave. Or not being able to attend to a sleepover or birthday party with my friends. The penalty or abused your sister your mother bear is beyond me to imagine. It upsets me just think about that. I will pray for you and your sisters, and especially one that has suffered greatly. God bless you all.
