Winter Horse Blankets - How to choose a turnout blanket for your horse
Since horse blankets are used for both different situations, it should not be surprising for you to find that there are many different types of horse blankets and sheets.
horse blankets are generally three different weights. A light, known as a leaf, a medium weight cold weather and heavy weight for a while very cold. In the medium and heavy blankets are filled with warmth, while the leaves are not filling. When you shop for blankets, you can also see something referring to "money" with a number next to it. Although it is nice to have, there is no reason why you can not use a blanket of participation while the horse is in the barn.
