Bring an old horse back to work?
Hello, right to work, I have a riding school and is a horse in 24 years the livery yard owner asked me if I want to bring in light work, as she has lost interest and felt that its not working right on it? .. about him: he has 24 15hh .. acts like a colt! been unemployed for about 6 months. He has lost some weight during the winter but hope you come with the spring grass! he lives and goes 4 days a week to come in the night and haylegde? Today, I made him great arena with a lunge line and cavason and walked around it for 10 minutes. didn't he fight at all, he walked around his head high with his tail stuck! .. it comes worrys me about his age, but his owner never falls I feel sorry for him and I think it will really benefit? Any plan Good condition Please be a great help!

I had the pleasure of owning horses well into their late 20's to mid 30. Our 36 years has acted as if it was the king of the world last summer when he gave a pony "ride to a girl for 3 years .. 10 minutes (she sat on him and he ate grass in court) .. high tail when he moved, and that gleam is back in his eyes. It was officially retired, except for the occasional trip boy of 5 years .. It makes me smile to think that he still loved to work at his age, he died on Christmas Day and I have a photo him with this girl.
