CSI Flex-Plate Saddle pad?
Here is the pad which I speak: http://www.horse.com/itm_img/WIP23.jpg Ok, when I was in the world, they NBHA had a booth set up that spoke of these saddle pads. From what the salesperson said they were absolutely incredible, but they are quite expensive ... I been saving money for some time now to buy a new saddle pad, and I do not know exactly what kind I want to buy. For now I have the Professional Choice SMX Air Ride Pad (http://www.horse.com/itm_img/WIP23.jpg) for my horse and barrel seems to be ok for him but its not bad used to climb every day. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with CSI pads flex plate. Are they worth $ 300 it takes to get them? I do not know anyone else who has one, and this worries me a little. If you have or are mounted on one you do not like? Are they all they cracked up to be?
I took this from a website: FIRST: I love my CSI Flex-Plate pad. The difference is really amazing. I am a heavy rider and I'm worried about the health of the back of my horse a lot. The CSI pad really helped keep my horse, even when riding on rough terrain or for long hours. It is well worth the money. SECOND: Purchase: I bought this rug Road Expo Horse About a year ago. Likes: Easy to clean. The summit said pad and foam pad are velcroed together for easy cleaning. Dislikes: I purchased the pad for me in my saddle to fit a variety of different horses. I noticed that on three stools, this carpet of leaves dry spots. Also, a horse that I ride every day is developing white spots. Quality: The party felt by them with the pad / flex plates pressure is great. But I see no advantage to the saddle-shaped. The portion of the foam pad is cracking and splitting and breaking. Also, it flattened half its original thickness. Summary: I bought two of these keys for $ 250. everyone thought they would be for our long walks on the trail However, I found they just did not work in relieving the pressure on the horses back. If I could go back, I would not put my money in these buffers. I contacted the company, but nobody will return my calls .......
